Perched – NFTS

Credit sequence for an NFTS graduation film…

A very good friend of mine has reached the end of his Directing for Animation course at the National Film and Television School and I’ve had the privilege of helping out along the way. Liam Harris and I collaborated a lot in our University days so it was good to get the chance to work with him again – initially I stuck my head in to help add a few jokes to his great story, the I was pulled in to animate a variety of swinging barrels, flopping fish and rolling tins in the background of his submarine-set short, Perched. But what has been most fun has been animating the credits – I’ve created a Monsters Inc. style sequence which will hopefully does justice to his film and rounds off the story nicely.

Perched is tipped for big things in the future, as is Mr. Harris himself, so look out for it on the festival circuit, and check back here for updates.
